Steve York Named ARCA Menards Series West Director

Steve York has been appointed as the new director of the ARCA Menards Series West, bringing decades of motorsports experience to the role. York has a diverse career background, including time at UPS and ownership of small businesses, but his passion has always been racing. In the 1980s, he founded Magic Valley Speedway, the 1/3-mile asphalt and 1/5-mile tri-oval in Twin Falls, Idaho, transforming a desert plot into a NASCAR-sanctioned track in under 60 days. It was an effort that helped earn him the Promoter of the Year award in 2005.
York's deep connections within the racing community, particularly on the West Coast, make him well-suited to lead the series.
